The new G6 minis are made for Dexcom G6 devices with a smaller tape radius. While our regular G6 tape size is recommended for longer lasting durability, this option has been requested for small children and those who are looking to try something different.

"So being diagnosed in your 30s sucks. These make me hate diabetes a little bit less. I was skeptical whether something this cute would actually work but they hold amazingly well even with swimming and hot showers. They also don’t look like garbage on day 9. Win.

They do leave behind a bit of residue but it comes off no problem with norma bandage removal goop."

"We love these stickers, it's probably the only way we can get our little one to accept the sensor. As a reward for putting the sensor on she is able to pick out "pretty" stickers to go over top. They are a real accessory around here! My only complaint is that the paper stickers tend to fall off when getting wet (i.e. bath and swimming) so we normally need to cut them down and put the clear over patch on to keep it waterproof. I would love to see these made more water proof and or offer clear over patches that are waterproof but can still see the cute designs underneath."

"My son broke out in a bad scabby rash under the tape. I assume it is from the dye. It hasn’t happened with the uncoloured ones,so it is not caused from the glue. They stick very well though. I am only giving one star cause of the reaction. Stickiness would get five stars."

Sorry to hear about the rash. One thing to try could be to apply Skin Tac before applying the tape, it creates a barrier between the skin and the tape. You can also return any unused tapes for a refund if you don't think they're going to work out.
